Welcome to Slideshower! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, www.slideshower.com (the “Website”), and the Slideshower desktop application for macOS (the “App”). The Service is provided by Pawel Trybulski, operating as Slideshower.

By accessing the Website, purchasing a license, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • “Service” refers to the Slideshower Website and the App collectively.
  • “We,” “Us,” or “Our” refers to Pawel Trybulski, the individual developer behind Slideshower.
  • “You” or “User” refers to any person or entity who accesses our Website or uses our App.
  • “Content” means any text, graphics, images, music, software, audio, video, works of authorship of any kind, and information or other materials that are posted, generated, provided, or otherwise made available through the Service.

2. Use of the Service

a. Website

You are free to browse our Website in accordance with these Terms.

b. The App & Software License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

  • Free Version: The App may be used for free with a limited feature set (e.g., up to 150 photo files).
  • Paid License: To access the full features of the App, you must purchase a one-time license key through our Website. This license allows installation on up to 2 devices owned by a single user.

3. Restrictions on Use

You agree not to do any of the following:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Resell or attempt to resell any license key.

4. Purchases and Payments

If you choose to purchase a license for the App, you agree to provide accurate payment information.

Payments are processed through our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy may use other third-party processors like Stripe to handle the transaction. We do not store your full credit card information. Your transaction is subject to the terms and privacy policy of Lemon Squeezy.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the App, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date by contacting us at hello@slideshower.com.

6. Your Content

Slideshower is an application that runs locally on your computer.

  • You Own Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the photos, videos, and any other content you use with the App (“Your Content”). We do not claim any ownership rights over Your Content.
  • Local Processing Confirmation: We confirm that Your Content remains on your device at all times. It is processed locally on your macOS device and is not uploaded, shared, or transmitted to us or any third party.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding Your Content), including all associated intellectual property rights, are and will remain the exclusive property of Pawel Trybulski. The Slideshower name, logo, and the product names associated with the Service are our trademarks, and no right or license is granted to use them.

8. Privacy Policy

Our collection and use of personal information (such as your email address for license delivery) is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license to the App if you breach these Terms. You can terminate these Terms at any time by ceasing to use the Website and deleting the App from your device.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE EXPLICITLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA OR GOODWILL, OR COMPUTER DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE USE OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP LICENSE, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50) IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE A PURCHASE.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. All claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be litigated exclusively in the courts of Poland, and you and We consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we do so, we’ll let you know by posting the modified Terms on under this url.
